Traditional Art / Paintings / Abstract

This painting is a year over due, it for a friend, a birthday present (ouch!)

Well she is pregnant at the moment, and I wanted to paint her something that reminds her of her pregnancy. I thought to do like an abstract interpretation of the ultra sound scans would be really cool...only I didn't have any of those, so I kinda just painted, i like what happened, although only one of the six squares actually resembles the ultra sound pictures I saw. (there are two parts to the complete painting)

I'm not quite sure it's finished yet.... so I thought I would submit it for feedback!

I took goodness knows how many pictures of them to submit - and I'm still not happy with how they came out, but I guess I’ll just have to live with that for a bit...

wow the bottom one here is most scan like of all 6! Awesome. Again top one is a little linear but yer apart from that!
